The Grande Class Traveller Repetition Minutes El Primero by Zenith (see "Multi-Complications" chapter) presents, among other functions, an alarm with sonnerie in two tones or in vibrating mode, as well as two power-reserve indicators, one for the movement and one for the sonnerie. But arguably the replica Patek Philippe watches most exclusive, most avant-garde alarm watch of the last few years is Ulysse Nardin's Sonata Silicium Limited Edition. Endowed with an anchor and escapement wheel in silicone, this timepiece utilizes for the first time in a collection several technical innovations introduced in 2007 within the framework of the InnoVision program. By using two cams (one for the 24-hour indication, the other for the minutes), the alarm mechanism-equipped with cathedral chimes-can be programmed with great precision up to 24 hours in advance.
